Why does Android App request location?
I've noticed recently that the Android app requests my location. This begs the following questions:
Why does it do this?
Does it request the 'low-accuracy' or 'high-accuracy' location?
Does Faithlife keep this location data? If so, for how long?

Mike is right, and if you aren't using proclaim (or attending a church which does), you do not need to allow it.
However if your church has a boring sermon the one next door might have some good graphics :-)

Now, this is exactly the type of advice that is likely to lead pastors astray (see free book this month).
The key to capture attention, is to have graphics, but more boring than the sermon. Folks become exhausted memorizing boring graphics, and turn back to the sermon. Our pastor likes good graphics. But he knows he's lost us for at least 5 minutes, with a good Galilee picture.

Actually I stopped using 'good' graphics when standing at the church door I overheard a conversation the gist of which was.
'That picture he had up for 'The Lord's my Shepherd' I was trying to work out which farm the sheep were on?'
It has taken me five years to move off a plain red background for all hymns and I have only moved to a shaded stained glass window effect. Still no recognisable picture to fire speculation.
