IPhone Reading Issues

While reading on the IPhone (Books downloaded for offline reading) specifically Barths Doctrine of God Part 2 and the ESV, I find that the right side of the text is cut off in portrait reading mode and I can't get it to go into Landscape reading mode.  Since I haven't found a multitude of complaints of this serious issue, I conclude that it's me.

Can anyone lead me to instructions on getting into Landscape mode or how to get the books to wrap at the appropriate spot.  IPhone GS 3s w/32 gb and 3 Gig free.

Thanks for the help.

I don't have the book downloaded, but I do have the ESV and it's fine for me in both portrait and landscape mode. As for instructions, it automatically switched to landscape mode like any other iPhone app.

Maybe try turning the iPhone off and then on as there are no specific settings within the iPhone app relating to viewing mode.

Go back to the forums/iPhone, and your topic should be high up in the most recent list. You can also search the forum using the topic name.

    Hope this helps a bit..

If I am reading with my iPod in a vertical position and accidently turn it into a horizontal position (so the book rotates) and then quickly turn it back, my books always wrap at the wrong spot (off the page). The way I can fix this is to put it back into a horizontal position let the book rotate and sit there for a few seconds, then put it back into a vertical position. The wrapping issue is fixed.

Now, if you can't get it to go into a horizontal position at all, I am not sure what to say.

Note: I find Logos frequently rotating my screen to the horizontal position (especially if I am reading in bed and am not sitting straight up). It would be great if there was an option (as some other apps have) to shut off the auto-rotate, so that Logos would always be in the vertical (or horizontal depending on user choice) position. This would allow reading while in a slanted or horizontal position (eg. laying in bed).

Thanks for the replys.  Today it works fine.  I did nothing (that I'm aware of) different.  Anyway, it works and I'm happy with that.

    Thank you again
