Logos 4 Program Has Stopped Working

This morning, after grabbing a cup of coffee, I sat down at the computer in order to focus on my class preping. I turned on on Logos 4. The shell came up and after about 30 seconds, I received a message, "Logos 4 Program has stopped working."

The only change I could think of was a patch that Microsoft FORCED* me to take. I also ran CCleaner, but this never caused a problem before.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Any ideas on what I can do to fix it?

Any place where a log file can be generated to see what is (or in my case, is not) happening?

* I love Windows, but it really burns my oats when I am forced to take a patch and then reboot! Yes, yes... I know... I can turn off that updates feature. Yet when I do, I get this terrified little icon in my lower corner screaming out that my computer is not properly protected! Yowser!!

Post it here- I had this issue on both my units and had to do a reindex of it.

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\random#\LibraryIndex

you may have to delete this folder and restart L4 and wait till it finishes indexing- this is a complete re-index.

BUT POST YOUR LOG FILES FIRST, LET SOMEONE READ THEM AND CONFIRM.

Wow!

I renamed my \LibraryIndex folder to \OldLibraryIndex and rebooted. Now I get my Home Page. GREAT!

My copy of Logos 4 is now re-indexing. It appears your suggestion was the right solution.
