BUG: Strange behaviour in Sermon Editor! 7.17 Beta 1 (7.17.0.0001)
This is a weird one, and I haven't been able to work out exactly what causes it.
For the last couple of weeks the sermon editor page has been jumping upwards after I have finished typing a sentence.
For clarity, I have my Sermon Editor window on the left hand side of the screen, and a Bible/other resources on the right hand side.
I just tried to verify whether it was particular key strokes/movements that caused it, but nothing seems to make it jump 100% of the time.
But the page does seem to jump whenever if finish a sentence with a full stop ("period" to not-Brits!) then a single space, and then move the mouse over the right hand panel - JUMP!
It doesn't do it every time, but that's what I'm seeing.
Someone please tell me that I'm not going crazy!!

Update: I figured it out!
It has nothing to do with keystrokes. The jumping happens when I hover/move my mouse over the scroll bar to the right of the Sermon Editor window.
It doesn't happen with any other window in Logos, only the Sermon Editor.

Are you running on Windows or Mac?
I can't reproduce this on Windows on the stable release of 7.16. I'll try and check on my beta installation later today

I can't reproduce this on 7.17 beta 1 on Windows 10
Is it possible that - in some way - when you hover your mouse over the scroll bar it is effectively "clicking it"?

I am also having some difficulty reproducing this. Can you share a screen recording so I can see exactly what you are doing?

It's not just me!
I was having trouble reproducing it myself. I think it only occurs AFTER the Sermon Editor screen is scrolled all the way to the bottom. It seems you only need to scroll to the bottom once and them the screen jumps each time you hover the mouse over the scroll bar. At least that's what I'm now seeing.
I can't easily capture a screencast, but Graham's example is exactly what I'm seeing.

I'm still not able to reproduce this on 7.17 Beta 2. What type of monitor resolution are you using? Do you have any program or content scaling turned on?

I am using two monitors - both running at 1920*1080

I had Program Scaling set to 140%
And I can't reproduce it now!
