Edit Spell-check dictionary

I am constantly spelling the word PRESENCE as PRESENSE. I mistakenly added it to the dictionary when I right-clicked it. Is there a way to remove this after mistakenly adding it? I am using a Mac. Does it use the system-wide spell-check? I used the CONTROL+CLICK and Unlearn Spelling command already but that didn't fix it. This is in the new notes beta and the latest version of the software beta.

Kevin,
We do use the system spell check, so we don't have any control over using unlearn spelling. If you follow the instructions in this blog post and then relaunch the app it should work. I was able to get it to work. I hope this helps.

Kevin,
I found out we do have a command for the Command Box that should work. It's documented in the Help File here. In your case you'll want to use the command:
remove PRESENSE from en

Thanks but neither of those helped.

I know this is an old forum.... and now I am new to Logos. Sooo... is there a way for me to edit spell check so that I can put some of my "shortcuts" in and then it will correct the shortcuts to the words I specify? For example, I am typing a sermon.... so I type in jcc and the spell check then correct that to Jesus Christ.... or I type in ntt and the spell checks corrects it to New Testament.
In other words.... I could set and shortcut and the specify what that shortcut represents and the spell check would automatically change the shortcut into the representation.
I could do this in WS....and did it a lot as I had many such shortcuts.
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

No. Logos doesn't have a "replace shortcut with text" feature; it's just a spell-checker.
