Greek and HEBREW Look Up Not Working
The iOS version no longer allows GREEK and Hebrew word lookup on any other source other than a Greek Bible version. It tells me the dictionary is not installed. I’ve always been able to look up GREEK words when using commentaries etc.
An email from the support from someone clearly uninformed states that this feature “doesn’t” work in commentaries. Attached is the screenshot.
This is clearly a problem. Anyone know why?

You are seeing this because the Greek dictionary the software is trying to use is not downloaded to your device.
Try downloading your preferred Greek lexicon and see if that resolves it.
Im not saying you should have to do this but I remember a problem of this type being identified and discussed.

This is also what happens when you aren’t connected to the internet (and don’t have an iOS dictionary downloaded). Have you tried killing the app and making sure your signal is strong?
It may be that you lost your signal at some point and Logos hasn’t recognized it

None of these answers address the issue.
1. Internet connection is fine.
2. Downloading BDAG gives me BDAG resutls but word “study“ continues to be disabled. Before this problem, Logos would give the word, meaning, and syntax all in the look up window.
3. I wrote a PhD dissertation using Logos. Never had this issue with the Iphone app, it’s a new glitch.
4. Support folk are clueless about what is causing this And keep saying it doesn’t work.

The Look Up tool retrieves the wrong word.
Pat, try swiping to the left and right to select different words. Notice the little dots in the pop-up window.\
Edit: Although after a second glance, I do see that the word that it retrieves is way off the mark!

Typically it is best to create new threads for new issues. It <may> be that you have an old version of the resource downloaded to your device. The "look up" feature uses the web servers, so if there is a disconnect between your version and the one expected, you will get wrong results. My first suggestion is to delete the resource and try "in the cloud." If that works, then redownload the resource and check again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please create a new thread.

I am having the same problem here in 2019, though this thread is old. I have attempted all of the fixes suggested here to no avail. I am with Andy, having written a dissertation relying a great deal on Logos and never had this problem. Tired of having problems with my Logos on Iphone, especially given the massive investment of money. I find Graham's responses accross threads to be condescending and unhelpful. Perhaps someone else can respond with real fixes.
