using Mounce's morphology of biblcal greek
Hi there,
Just bought Mounce's morphology of biblical greek. I was expecting to be able to right click on a Greek word and be taken via some menu option to the word in the morphology as per BDAG etc. But can't see an option. I have resorted to opening in BDAG copying the lemma and pasting into search in mounce's morphology. Seems rather clunky so there must be a better way. Anyone help much appreciated!

1st open BDAG and select the option "send hyperlinks here" in the resource panel menu. Then double-click a Greek word in Mounce's Morphology and it should sync to that Greek word in BDAG

thanks so much for speedy reply. Will that work the other way around? I want to click on a Greek word in my bible (like sbl) and have it open the lemma in Mounce's Morphology so I can get clues as to why the word is formed that way. I was expecting to be able to right click on a word and somehow go to it easily in mounce's mophology. It should be possible as there is one main place where each lemma is listed but maybe its not set up like that.

No since currently Mounce's Morphology of Biblical Greek lacks Greek indexing of index items (so can search Mounce for Greek lemma word followed by clicking appropriate section). Dreaming about Faithlife adding lemma tagging to Index of Mounce's Morphology.

thanks for the info. That's really helpful. Would be great if it was indexed. As I say, I assumed it would be but hopefully in the future....:-)

Sorry if my frustrations are too close to the surface but, it is very disappointing that 3.5 years later, the needed indexing has not been done for Mounce's Morphology. As Mr. Tutt wrote, a very quick, immediate link from LXX or Greek NT to Mounce would be a great advantage in advancing one's greek. The link through BDAG seems like a work around for what really should be available directly.

Sorry, I am in error in thinking there was a work around through BDAG. For what Mr. Tutt and I want to do, there is no need to go from Mounce to BDAG. We are trying to get to Morphology from the NT or LXX text.
