Searching on the iPhone app is very frustrating to me.

First of all, I consider searching a basic function.  A search icon should be visible among the icons at the bottom of the basic screen, not hidden the 7th item down on the other functions page.

Second, it used to be the case that when I did a search on the iPhone app, and clicked on one of the search results, the screen opened exactly to that reference.  That is no longer the case, whether it is a concordance search or a basic search.  Now the screen seems to open at random, maybe in the general vicinity of the reference, maybe pages away.

In fact, the logos app may open pages before or after the reference.  If I am looking for a quote from Wesley or Spurgeon, I don’t whether to search for it before or after the place to which the reference opened.  If it is a concordance search, I must take care to remember the reference and enter it into the Bible to get to the appropriate reference.

Surely, Logos can do better.  Or. am I the only one having these issues?

Logos Bible Software for the PC/Mac is outstanding.  But frankly Logos' mobile app is extremely poor, in my opinion.  And in todays world of cell phones and tablets, that is a major flaw.

I agree. I gave up my Ipad and purchased a MacBook Pro. The Logos IOS app is good for reading books. But for searches and foreign language work, the desktop versions are far superior.

I agree search icon should be top and center and should default to searching on the current resource. If current resource is a Bible then search should default to a Bible search.
