Crash -- Logos won't open and load resources, it keeps crashing. Help!
Your resource Bible History: Old Testament could be corrupt.
Start Logos whilst holding the CMD key. Login and it will open to a blank layout. Now you need to hide Bible History: Old Testament. Then unhide it to allow a new copy to download.
You may also need to delete this file:
/Users/josefurban/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/i0qoznkz.uam/ResourceManager/Resources/BHISTOT.logos4
Thanks but it just crashes as soon as it opens. It doesn't give me a chance. Is there another option?
You were replying to Bradley, but you delete the file without opening Logos.
Did you try pressing CMD key when Logos was starting? You will see a Logon window, from which it opens to a blank layout.
Oh yes, sorry for the confusion on the reply. I tried opening it holding the command key, and a log on window popped up, then I signed in, and entered. And the same thing happens, it opens (I hear the jingle tune and see a grey window) and then 2 seconds later it all closes immediately. Then I get a notification saying "Logos quit unexpectedly."
I'm on a Mac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6
Did you delete the file that Bradley suggested? If not, please do so. If that doesn't work, please upload NEW log files AFTER a new crash. Alternatively, you could call FL directly.
