Lack of pricing (and ownership) on the Home page

While I'm grateful that the FL team is redesigning the site, it would really help to see pricing (and grey buy button ownership) on the Home page.

Please, please show us pricing so we can see whether a (top-rated) resource is on sale or not.

Customers shouldn't have to waste their time clicking through a link to see its price, or whether or not they own it. Who knows how many sales FL misses out on, because people no longer bother to click through, due to the "click-back-click-back" inconvenience.

I was just reading an article yesterday about how page load latency costs businesses a certain percentage of customers. It must be challenging to keep customers happy while achieving that optimum click-through to maximize sales.

I can appreciate that the page loads much faster because there's less to query/process from the back end. People are happier with a fast-loading website.

I even checked out Amazon today to see what they do. Normally I "get" to (a specific) Amazon (product page) via Google, instead of bothering to visit their home page. So I was surprised to discover that their home page also doesn't show prices.

(Yes, I resort to shopping at Amazon when a book unfortunately isn't available in Logos. Availability, speed, convenience... we expect so much from our FL shopping experience, don't we?)

I would add emphasis to PetaChristian's parenthetical (it shouldn't be parenthetical) "and ownership." Probably very few people want to shop for books they own. May as well exclude those so we can dig right into our meat and potatoes.
