Logos4 fails during startup

During start up L4 fails to open completely. The following message pops up:

Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?

The error in your log is caused by a corrupt index. The way to fix this is to
make a new index, which unfortunately will take some time.

Do this by deleting the contents of this folder:
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<random>\LibraryIndex
and then start Logos, it will see that it doesn't have an index and
then will begin to build a new one.[Note: the AppData folder is hidden
so you will have to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders to
navigate to this folder.]

Go to your control panel. Open the Folder Options. Under "View" read through the options, there should be a setting to enable viewing of "Hidden Files and Folders"
