Just looking at Matthew chapter 5 and noticing that when Jesus speaks of Heaven it is not capitalized. Shouldn't it be?

I wouldn't expect it to be capitalized although different translations use different rules for capitalization.
Modern English usage dictates that heaven is not capitalized.
Of course in the first century when it was first written down, every letter would have been capitalized, just like every other word in the NT :-)
I would have thought maybe for reverence.. such as "Him" when referring to God or Jesus is capitalized.
Furthermore, Heaven also denotes a proper place .. like New York.
Just my thoughts
Most translations don't capitalize pronouns referring to deity. See CEV, RSV, NRSV, ESV, GWT, NET, NIV, NJB, TEV, TNIV, KJV.
Plus it's odd to capitalize these pronouns on the lips of unbelievers. See Mark 15:13 in HCSB, NASB, and NKJV.
There is no distinction for pronouns referring to deity in the original texts either.
