Glad for ya DAL,
But I am having the same problem I do every year with this promotion. They never get the code activated for my account, unless I contact them directly, and then they have to look into it.[^o)] Well they looked into it (very fast), got it activated and my download is working fine. [:D]

I am (and have been for several years) a pastor. No email that I'm aware of. But no need to call FL to get the code to work.
Thank you FL! I picked up orthodox silver for 23$ on top of the PAM credit.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

There's no way I'd pay $65 for
https://www.logos.com/product/7367/high-definition-commentary-romans
Any views on how good it is as a preaching resource at $19 - sale price less $20 coupon?
I have all the usual best rated Romans commentaries.

Wow! Thanks, FL & thanks David for pointing it out!

Really confused on this pricing..
https://www.logos.com/product/166240/brand-new-bundle
This is normally $14.99, but I can get it for $5.81 (dynamic pricing no sale). It contains:
https://www.logos.com/product/137468/brand-new-a-40-day-guide-to-life-in-christ
$12.99 normally
https://www.logos.com/product/148886/brand-new-mentors-guide
$2.99 normally.
or so 2 resources for $14.99 that would be $15.98 separately.
Or the special deal of $5.81 for the $2.99 resource.. [:P][:#]

I've not yet started going through the Romans HD commentray, nor am I a preacher, but as a lay person, I would really recommend the Philippians HD commentary. Visual aids stick much easier than pure text. We're a very visual species.
Would the L7 Essential Upgrade be a better option? It comes with all the HD commentaries, and with dynamic pricing and the coupon might be a better deal. https://www.logos.com/product/145467/logos-7-essential-upgrade (It's just an idea; I don't want to tempt you...)
Edit: Sorry about the misinformation… It doesn't contain the other HD commentaries - just Romans. (I'm mildly confused now, since I have all of them in Logos, and don't recall how I got them...)

Thanks Jan. Beyond my budget at present. Really appreciate all your posts and emails. Paul

The "medium" version which loads by default at that link provided contains James & Romans. The "large" version accessed on the same page contains all 3 that are included in the HD collection (the 3rd being Phillippians)

Which is why this should not have been shared on the foru. There are clear guidelines on sharing of codes and though the code was not shown in the post a link to a sale that displayed the code was shared and it is clear that sale was only supposed to be for a subset of Logos customers. Sharing it ends up either creating disappointment for some of those who are not eligible and creates unnecessary work for FL staff fielding enquires from customers who are not eligible for the sale.
I know the person sharing it did so with good intent but sometimes confidentiality needs to be considered before sharing every sale you get in your inbox from any company.

Feel so sorry for your disappointment and will take note off that. Btw I did not get the information from email it's on the homepage.

Where did I say I was personally disappointed? You are reading something into the text that was not there. I am not a Pastor, I have worked in retail a long time so I understand how targeted sales campaigns work. No disappointment on my part. I simply stated sharing something that is targeted to a subset of customers can create disappointment for some of those who are not eligible and create unnecessary work for FL staff.
How you get from there to me being personally disappointed I don't know.
And because it is a targeted sale whether it was via email or homepage - the medium for communication is secondary in this day and age of digital - the real point is that targeted campaigns should not be shared on the forum because it does lead to people chasing FL staff for benefits they are not eligible to receive and wastes everyone's time.

Dear David, personally very grateful for you sharing this promotion on the forum. I'm a church leader myself and if you had not shared it here, I probably wouldn't have seen it. Thanks again.

Thanks to Faithlife, and thanks to David for pointing this out!
I used this $20 gift to help towards purchasing a commentary I wanted. I applied the $20 towards a volume of the Baker Commentary on the Old Testament Wisdom and Psalms.

A really excellent book. I used the second half to provide the framework for a preaching series and found it really useful.

It's been on my wish list for several years. Maybe I should use the next coupon on it. (About 11 months and 4 days until I next get a birthday coupon…)

he's a very clear writer, at times dense (meaning packed in to few words). I, too have that book and have been working my way through it. love Graham's suggestion.

Just a bit more detail, I used chapters 9-14 for the series.
i was aware of, and struggled with, the fact that I was missing out some importaint concepts from the early chapters but it seemed to work!

Thanks Faithlife for the $20 coupon. I used the coupon for the Fragments of Truth movie download and the Ancient Christian Devotional Series A, B, and C ebooks. I really enjoyed the movie and I would like to travel to some of those places shown in the movie. The Ancient Christian Devotional books seem interesting so far also.

Argh, I forgot that I've been wanting to watch Fragments of Truth! [:(] I used it on Stephen Charnock and O. Hallesby. Still great grabs when I think about it.

I am so glad you said this, as I have wanted to watch this.
How do I "add" the movie to my cart? I went to FaithLife TV and saw that the movie was for purchase for $14.99. I clicked on that, and then it said "Confirm," but I was afraid that if I clicked on that, then it would automatically purchase it, instead of adding it to my cart. Can I do this within Logos, or do I have to go to FaithLife TV?
And if I am there at FaithLife TV, can I also buy a book at Logos.com?
Thanks, Richard!
