Question regarding The Unseen Realm

If I own Supernatural: What the Bible Teaches about the Unseen World - and Why It Matters by Micheal S. Heiser is there any need or anything to gain by also purchasing The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible also by Heiser?
I would love to hear your take on this. I'm willing to get The Unseen Realm but I don't want to spend the money if it doesn't gain me much over just reading Supernatural
Thanks for your wisdom and insight.

In short, yes the Unseen Realm has much more content and footnotes. If it were the opposite way, I'd say no but the Unseen would be an upgrade

Thanks Mattillo.
I got Supernatural as my FL free book this month and I think for now I'll stick with that. If I find myself agreeing with his thoughts in Supernatural I may add The Unseen Realm in the future. But there were enough negatives in the link you provided to make me cautious about this subject.

Sure thing. I really enjoyed Heiser's book. I read the Unseen Realm so I'm not quite sure how in-depth Supernatural will get. I went back and reread the post I sent and I wouldn't give too much weight to those quotes. As you get deeper you'll see what I'm talking about. It isn't that God NEEDS to consult a council... it is just the way he set it up. In the end, God is omniscient so even if he setup a council the end result is already known.
That is how I look at it at least. He recently published a book on Angels and a Demons volume is forthcoming. In-between Unseen and Angels is Reversing Hermon. Enjoy!
PS He also has a great website and a fan letter / podcast you can subscribe to. http://drmsh.com

Supernatural is Unseen Realm light. UR goes into a lot more detail with full references. Depends how deep you want to go.
