[request] 6.3 beta 3: Bug Library export to Excel doesn't work

The "Send" and "Paste" Microsoft Excel options are not working for me, even with small collections:

Also, I notice that some of the old options have disappeared. Is that by design (because they've moved to the Bibliography tool)? It's a bit odd that to do Excel exports you go to one place, and to do Word exports you go to another. It would seem more sensible to have all options in both places.

My guess is that the Library uses Excel since the information in the Library panel is displayed in a chart with columns and rows, so Excel would be the best app to export that kind of information to.

FWIW, I get the failure as Mark B. Office 365. Excel 15.0.4701.1002. 32 bit. Logos 6.3.0.0019.

IIRC, this also stopped working at one point back during the 5.x series betas.

It appears I was thinking the collections tool in L5 [:$]. Print/export has now gone from Collections in L6 (which makes sense now we can export from the Library and Bibliography). I still think it would make sense to have the same print/export options in Library and Bibliography, but I now see it's not a regression/bug, but a feature request!

Opened Logos (Excel is not running)
(pause a couple minutes to allow startup tasks to complete)
Opened Library
(Export -> Paste to Open Document is grayed, correctly)
Clicked on Export -> New Document
(Excel appears in taskbar, flashing for ~ minute & then disappears)
(Export -> Paste to Open Document is no longer grayed, though Excel has closed)
Clicked on Export -> Paste to Open Document
(Now grays out, but nothing visible happens)
Opened Excel to New Document.
Export -> Paste to Open Document is no longer grayed, so click on it.
(Nothing visible happens)

A request for what? Please clarify this wrt my unresolved bug report.

Based on the logs posted it appears that you'll need to make sure ".NET Programmability Support" is enabled. I saw several posts explaining how to do this in versions of MS Office earlier than 2013 but nothing seems to indicate that it can be turned on or off in 2013... It's possible that it will have a different name and that's why it's not working.

I'd recommend that somebody investigate turning this option/feature on and seeing if export to Excel begins working.
