We are discussing Psalters. Those identified as Bibles are behaving correctly including the metrical psalter by Keble. There is a systematic problem with the other metrical psalters although the precise errors vary.

I am using the metrical psalter of Isaac Watts as the example of the problem. It can be shown by comparing context menus to those of Keble, but I have chosen to show it by the results of two searches - one on the scriptural reference <Psalm 3> and one on the string "Psalm 3".
This first example is the entire Psalm 3:1-8 which in the resource is simply titled "Psalm 3". As such it did not receive a milestone marker that the text is Psalm 3 in a metrical version (as in Keble).

In the second example, the metrical translation of Psalm3 is incomplete - it contains only verse 1-5, 8. In this case the verses are taken as references. In fact they are milestones for the text below - not references. As references do appear in the concordance and milestones do not, running a concordance shows that this error is pervasive.

I have known for some time that metrical psalters had search problems but had not identified the error precisely.
Note that metrical psalters differ from hymns which may be included in the same resource. Hymns are creations of the author in which most Bible citations are references. Metrical psalms are translations in metrical form in which the Bible citations are normally milestones.
