Logos 6.9 Beta 1 is now available for download.
As mentioned in this thread, Betas 1, and 2 for Logos 6.9 will not automatically download from the beta channel. To install Beta 1, please see the download links included below. You will need to manually download and run the installer for each Beta release until Beta 3, at which point automatic updating from the beta channel will resume.

Looks like some really good things here.
Thanks Faithlife
I'm really pleased with this release. There's nothing big and exciting, but there are an awful lot of small improvements that add up to something substantial that will definitely make using Logos more efficient. It would be great to see more of this consolidation work going forward.
Double checking the details:
Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
MJ. Smith: Double checking the details: The Bible Reading layout applies only to Bible Reading Plans. There is no additional option for "from the Go Box". The Reading Plan layout applies to all Bible Reading Plans; there is no additional option for non-Bible reading plans.
This is correct.
Maybe I'm dense, but I cannot find any place (in the Layouts menu or any place else) to save custom layouts that will start by entering a passage on the Home Page.

Andrew Batishko (Faithlife):The Go box does not display reading plans.
I was trying to ask about the automatic layout when a Bible reference was entered in the Go Box...

Upper left - dropdown option to update layout or to revert to default.

That's "Go to Passage".
Mark Barnes:That's "Go to Passage".
Don't know how I missed that ... only read 4 options.
I'm anxious to see the Biblical Theology Section ... perhaps it can make me understand why it's treated as a separate discipline which has always baffled me.
Thanks mark,
I do not have a Home Page Layouts section.

Sorry to ask but are you sure you have installed the beta?

Are there links to the Verbum build?

I thought the same thing and double checked

My apologies! I'm adding them now.
So I had Logos 6 and added Verbum crossgrade later, and use the Set Verbum Yes command. Do I need to install the Verbum or the Logos 6 one? Or does it matter?

You'd want the Logos 6 one. In terms of packages it doesn't really matter, but since your resources are already installed under Logos 6 I would use that one, as installing the Verbum application would redownload them.
ok, thanks! Have a good Christmas.
