Hi all, I had had Logos open for a few days without opening the home page. This morning, I clicked on the home page icon and it dropped down immediately. It had no content other than the busy/waiting graphic which I take to indicate that it's downloading content. I then clicked the home page icon again to hide it, and then opened it again hoping that would force a refresh. Logos then crashed. Here's a screenshot of my layout at the time:
Here is the xml file generated by Windows:
3323.WERBC60.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
I was unable to upload the memory dump (probably due to size constraints).

Rosie, thanks for the pointer. I believe this is something different because it only happened a single time, and since it occurred, I can open and close the home page all day long with no problem.

Glad it only happened once and is working for you now. If you do ever get a crash that is reproducible, though, please enable diagnostic logging (see here for how to do that) and post your Logos4.log file here. The XML file you posted doesn't give much info other than the version of Logos you were running. A raw memory dump probaly wouldn't be too useful either (I was a programmer for many years and I never would have wanted to have to wade through one of those and figure out what was where.)
Hi Rosie,
I still have the memory dump file. Logos should be interested in seeing it. I guess they just haven't noticed this message yet.
Had a similar crash http://community.logos.com/forums/t/11782.aspx
It has not reoccurred. (unlike yours, i had WorkOffline turned on, you will still get a processing ring as L4 is determining which random articles to paint on the screen). Don't figure any of this will help you. But thought it interesting that others might be seeing some of the similar crashes and may not have reported them. Had other crashes in 4.0aSr3 here http://community.logos.com/forums/t/12107.aspx
Hope that you don't get any further crashes.
