Wasn't I able to do a Bible Word study where I make a graph based on the HCSB in the past? Was this feature take away?
No. To do a Bible Word Study, the translation must have a reverse interlinear attached. The HCSB currently does not.
No. Right Click on a word in HCSB can be used for English Bible Word Study plus can search this resource followed by Graph Results:

The HCSB it Is actually my preferred Bible. I think it strikes a very beautiful balance between a literal translation and a dynamic translation. However, I've migrated to the ESV more as of late because of the need for the reverse interlinear functions.
Actually the HCSB is also my preferred Bible. As to why Logos does not have a REVERSE INTERLINEAR for this translation after all of this time is a mystery to me. We should have had a REVERSE INTERLINEAR for the HCSB a long time ago........
I'd also like to use the HCSB, but don't because of this limitation.
While the HCSB is widely used in the USA, it is not common elsewhere: I've never come across it in the UK, and had never even heard of it until I became a Logos user. Most Christian bookshops over here don't even stock it.
Yes... I have been waiting see a RI for HCSB comes through to Logos; HCSB is quite a nice balance between the current literal & dynamic equivalent translations.
A revision of the HCSB, renamed the "Christian Standard Bible", will come out next year: http://www.bhpublishinggroup.com/press-release/bh-to-launch-christian-standard-bible-csb-version-in-2017

Lets show Logos / Faithlife how many people really want this Reverse Interlinear of HCSB, and will be willing to pay for it when they provide it to us!
Please make Your Voice Heard in this link to the old user voice for the HCSB Reverse Interlinear.
Today this Only has 148 votes, this needs our help to push it along. Is your Vote in?

Now at 164 but this still needs more help.
Update we are now at 181, but this been for a few days. Take a look at this and make your Vote count. Thanks
Now up to 200.
How many votes does this need before Logos / FL takes a look at this?
I voted! That would be a great addition for a reverse interlinear!
209 and counting.
Logos please take a close look into getting this done.
For a very long time this user voice was at 148, in just 16 days of pointing this out we have added 63 votes for this today it is at 211.
I have always wanted the Reverse Interlinear for the HCSB Lee
I agree with you 100% !!!!!!! [:D][Y]

We're actively working on a reverse interlinear for the HCSB New Testament, though I don't want to promise a release date. We'll evaluate the response and then decide whether to do the OT as well.
Thanks for the great news, Sean!

So does this new development mean I can take my 3 votes back? [:P]
So does this new development mean I can take my 3 votes back?
Haha... let's not give FL any impression that interest in this is declining, or we might have to wait another 3-1/2 years for the OT RI process to get started!
I'll hold on - just being cheeky [:D]
Maybe we should start putting away a few $ now to be ready to pay for this when they get it done.
I imagine this would be included in a future feature set, but also be included as part of a Logos Now subscription? Wouldn't LN members automatically get this RI, instead of having to buy it?
Hello Petah
I am not sure about it being included in a future feature set.
I was just thinking that it could be a resource, I am only a Logos user.
this is a e-mail I got about the RI.
This link is for reverse interlinears so I think Logos will offer this as a resource when it is completed, this would be something they are making for us so we will need to pay for it in some way. That is fine by me.

An idea you support has been updated:
From https://community.logos.com/forums/p/130510/855478.aspx#855478: We’re actively working on a reverse interlinear for the HCSB New Testament, though I don’t want to promise a release date. We’ll evaluate the response and then decide whether to do the OT as well.
Disappointing only the NT is being done. The OT scriptures are not an optional add on to the HSCB. The OT is an integral part of the scriptures.
I agree half of a reverse interlinear is really no RI. We need the Complete Bible!
I second that Lee
We need the complete RI for the HCSB.
The OT scriptures are not an optional add on to the HSCB. The OT is an integral part of the scriptures.
I've been saying that about the deuterocanonicals for years [:P]

And if they are included in the particular version Logos offers then I agree the Reverse Interlinear should be made for them also.
I agree with you MJ. Smith

The UserVoice suggestion has been updated by Bradley to say that the NT Reverse-Interlinear is now available to Logos Now subscribers — and it is!
Thank you! FWIW I am very happy with at least having the NT. The HCSB is one of my top 3 translations I want to do text comparison with. Having reverse will definitely facilitate this.

As Mark reported, the NT is now available for Logos Now users.
EDIT: I just read the release notes for the newest beta version and I think this might be beta only... so another 6 weeks or so before it ships to non-beta LN users.
So only "LOGOS NOW" users??? When will it be available to the rest of us??????
I am only a LOGOS user and the HCSB is the Main Translation I use.
Logos User Voice suggestion => Create a Holman Christian Standard Bible Reverse Interlinear using the latest edition of the text.
The HCSB NT reverse interlinear is now available to all Logos Now and Verbum Now subscribers. From https://community.logos.com/forums/p/130510/855478.aspx#855478: We’ll evaluate the response and then decide whether to do the OT as well.

Confirmed HCSB NT reverse interlinear resource is in 7.3 SR-1 Stable and 7.4 Beta 1
It's available for everyone! Not in the beta, but it shipped (updated) today for me.
Very happy about this, as I've wanted to try using the HCSB as a default bible.
I will ask this question again:

As you know, one of the benefits of Logos Now is early access to new features which ship after L7 was released.
Non-LN members should expect to get this new reverse interlinear in the L8 feature set. Your guess as to when L8 will ship is as good as mine.

As a volunteer can speculate Aug 2018 (~two years) for Logos 8 revamp of feature sets and libraries. No idea if HCSB reverse interlinear will be offered separately => https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=reverse+interlinear&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=15 (LBLA, LEB, NABRE, NASB95, NIV, NKJV, NRSVCE, RSVCE, and RVR60 have reverse interlinears available in feature sets, Now membership, or Cloud subscription, but not individually).
Noted Feature Set comparison => https://www.logos.com/compare/feature-sets?productIds=121388,121389,120029,120030,124703,124704 does not show HCSB reverse interlinear.
Updating marketing and product pages by hand must be a challenging job. I don't know if the people who do that automatically get notifications about new features added to LN, but it also took time for Fuzzy Search and other recent features to show up in the feature set comparison.
Dreaming of the day when the web site could automatically be updated when a new product/feature/tool goes live, new free book is offered, new temporary preview resources ship, and so on.
August 2018 is not a satisfactory answer - 2 years [^o)] You have got to be kidding me.
As one who voted many, many times for the HCSB Reverse Interlinear, that is like FAITHLIFE slapping me in the face!
Thankful for Faithlife producing the HCSB Reverse Interlinear. Thankful for Logos Now.
Keep Smiling
Many, many reasons to smile! His deeds are great, His ways are perfect, His name is majestic!
Thankful too for KS4J and Kenute!

+1 [Y] Thankful. On my knees can joyfully say "Jesus is Lord" plus look forward to worship in His presence.
Thankful for many friendly forum discussions: have learned a lot plus have a lot to learn.
As one who voted many, many times for the HCSB Reverse Interlinear ...
One idea is creating a thread in Suggestions requesting HCSB Reverse Interlinear as an individual resource (allows other users to reply so Faithlife can gauge user community interest) plus send an email to Book Suggestions => https://www.logos.com/contact
Noted range of $ 16.99 to $ 69.99 for individual Reverse Interlinear resources => https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=reverse+interlinear&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60 for the six that can be individually purchased. My library has 48 lbsrvi resource files.
Another idea is Logos Now OR Verbum Now annual membership until HCSB reverse interlinear can be purchased: either individually OR as part of a Logos 8 feature set that has a discounted price from Now membership (currently 25 %). Thankful for new features plus maintenance of existing features and resources.
Logos Now thread => Why subscription has many replies by Bob Pritchett on 8 Apr 2015, which includes
- We love selling things and getting paid all at once. Many people also buy and incur very little follow-on costs. We make money and we are all happy. - Some people buy once and are active users who incur on-going costs for support, maintenance, server hosting, and more. They don't need 'more books' and so they don't buy upgrades because they "already have what I need, if you'll just do a free update of the mobile app and support Windows 11." We're glad these people are enthusiastic Bible students, but these people make us less money, and we'd love to find a way to incentivize (not require) them to pay us $8.99 / month. We intend to make Logos Now such a compelling offer that you voluntarily subscribe because it's a such a good deal, even if you hate subscriptions. We plan to bribe you with goodness and value. (Is that the 'hidden agenda' you feared? At least it's a benevolent, generous one.)

Logos Now and Verbum Now have been changed from a monthly membership to annual along with compelling value, which includes Online Only features that cannot be owned.
