Hi Logos,

May I know what is the underlining Original Language Text used for CUV Reversed Interlinear?

Is there a easy way to compare and identify if there are differences between Original Text used in CUV RVI vs ESV RVI or NASB RVI?

Thank you!

JK

    Philip,

Is there anyway you can find out? Thanks. I am having some inconsistent hits between Bible Word Study Guide and Bible Search as reported in another thread. Thanks.

    Hello LimJK,

The original language text of the CUV NT reverse interlinear is the SBLGNT. Any lemma, root and morph data you see in the aligned Greek is drawn directly from that resource. You can read more about it here: https://www.logos.com/product/8486/the-greek-new-testament-sbl-edition.

Simliarly, the ESV and NASB95 New Testaments are aligned to the SBLGNT.

    Isaiah,

Thanks for confirming that SBLGNT is the resource used for the CUV RVI NT, how about OT when CUV RVI is going to be available in a few weeks over a month ago? (Just want to pull Philip's leg) [:)]

May I know what are the Original Language Text used for each of the Logos RVI Bible, is it published somewhere? (I googled but don't seem to be able to find). I think KJV RVI does not use SBLGNT.

IIRC the intent is to use the text used by the translators which may not match precisely any printed edition ..

LimJK, hope I didn't miss something in your query. If so, ignore this.

The resource info page shows the greek base, at least the ones I ckecked. Cambridge KJV and NKJV used Shriveners.

OT: Was looking at the Clementine RI. Surprised they ran it against SBL Greek. Mat 5.44 an example.
