Is there any plan to make the Read aloud feature available for Chinese books

I am on Mac environment, it should work the same way in Windows. If you set your system voice to Chinese and select one of the voices, it should work the way you wanted. I have tried the following resources in the screen shot and confirm that it is reading Chinese properly [:)]

In Logos 3, we used to be able to select the Voice within Logos, but since Logos 4 they only use the default system voice that you have selected in the OS. So note that once you select Chinese for system voice, reading English Logos resources may not work properly.

Hope that the Read aloud feature can be improved for those of us whose eye sight is fading [:)]

Windows' comparable feature is called Narrator. You can google on that. It's very annoying to use.

If you have an iPad / iPhone, I found that the Speech feature (similar to the Mac's) works perfectly with Chinese text.

Read aloud already works for Chinese, just like for English and other languages. You don't need to use Narrator. The problem is with the confusing settings in Windows 10 that are split up between Control Panel and Modern UI Settings. You can only have one voice/language active for speech in desktop programs, meaning if you want to listen to another language, you have to go to control panel to switch to a different voice and restart Logos (but the default Chinese voice can actually read English - just with a Chinese accent [;)] )

To switch to a different voice/language right-click on the Windows symbol (bottom-left of your screen) - Control Panel - Speech recognition - Text-to-Speech - select desired language/voice in the list (for Simplified Chinese/普通话 the default is called Microsoft Huihui Desktop). You probably need to restart Logos before the change takes effect.

If you do not find a voice in your desired language, you have to go to the Modern UI settings first to install the language:

Click on the speech bubble at the bottom right of your screen (Action Center) - All Settings - Time and Language - Regions and Language - click on the language you want to add the voice for (or on Add a language, if it is not in the list) - Option - Download (under Speech). After that, you should find that language in Control Panel as described above).

I don't have access to a Windows 7 system right now, so I can't test that.

You should find Text-to-Speech settings somewhere in Control Panel. First make sure, it works for your Windows system language (is that English or Chinese?).

To install additional languages is more complicated in Windows 7, I think (unless you have Windows 7 Ultimate). A Google search might help.
