Can You Create One Book Out Of A Number Of Books? Ignatius Study Bible Question

I have all the available Ignatius Study Bible books available to date on Verbum. However, I'd like to have all of those books in one "super book" so I could open a split view with the RSVSE at the top and the scrolling Ignatius Bible Commentary below so that I didn't have to jump around to a bunch of different windows as I move through the various books of the Bible during my study. I basically want to concatenate all the books into a single one. Is that possible? (This is only going to get "worse" as more and more of the OT books are released a dribble at a time - four more volumes in physical form already exist that have yet to be brought into Verbum.)

I think you don't need to build a "super book". If you prioritize the series, when you go from one reference to the other, it will seamlessly open the relevant resource in the series.

I get the sense that you're speaking of the mobile app when you speak of "split view" and "top and bottom". If so, I don't think that particular functionality of a series works on the mobile apps, although it would be really nice if it did. (If it does, I don't know how to make that work.)

On the desktop, a set of resources sharing the same index (bible, headword, etc.) that are in a 'series' will flow to the correct volume (if you own it) as the reference changes. That is, if I have John open in the Pillar Commentary series and either type Mt 1.1 in the reference box, or a linked bible changes reference to that, the Pillar Matthew volume will open in the same space seamlessly. I think any of the commentary sets that Logos sells would be in an appropriate series when purchased. So, if you're on the desktop, you only need to link your RSV to a volume in your Ignatius set and any of those volumes you own will flow appropriately.

To check if a resource is in a Series, select it in the Library panel and scroll down the Book Info panel to below the Mobile Devices section. If the resource is not in a series, you can set it there. To set a number of resources in a series all at once, open the Library panel, specify criteria that will display the needed resources and select all the appropriate resources. Scroll down the Book Info panel and enter the series name. Although Logos resources are generally already in an appropriate series, assigning a series might be necessary if you have made a personal book commentary set or multi-volume dictionary, or if you need a custom arrangement of some sort. For example, I had a personal book of Tyndale's (limited) OT Bible and I put it in a series with the Logos edition Tyndale NT, so that they would behave as one volume.

WOW - SO SO SO COOL! Thank you for showing me this. I had no idea Verbum/Logos was this "smart." I absolutely love this feature. Or at least it is this smart on my Mac. I find that even if all the books in the series are downloaded and "local" on my iPad Pro the Verbum app isn't so smart. So, from the height of cool on my Mac to the depth of dumb on my iPad. LOL The Lord giveth and .......
