Any Chance of getting Spicq's 2 vol. work on Hebrews for Logos?
Wow ! Great suggestion ! After years of searching in Paris, I finally found the two volumes in French in an old, dusty bookstore on the Left Bank. It's gold! I didn't know it was available in English.
Tom,
As far as I know it has not been translated. Like you, I have searched high and low for this work. To date I have only secured the first volume, but continue to look for the second. It would be nice to have this work, even if it is in French, in Logos.
Cliff
I don't think these are in translation either. I picked up both volumes at an estate sale about 20 years ago. It would be a great addition to my digital library.

Hooray!
I'm in.
C'est fantastique ! Spread the word, as many folks probably don't know how valuable these two volumes really are, and to have them in English would be wonderful. Merci beaucoup!
His Theological Lexicon of the NT was all I needed to know this would be a must-have for one of my favorite NT books. There's another thread about this:

We need to get the word out so this can start production, which includes translation in addition to tagging.
Now if only we could get Logos to translate the not-yet-translated-into-English portions of Patrologia Cursus Completus http://www.logos.com/product/16530/patrologia-cursus-completus-series-graeca-part-1 [H]
What's great about this is if any fluent French-reading Logos users detect infelicities in translation, Logos can revise and update the resource immédiatement.
I love your comments to yourself. [:D]
I put an alert on our Catholic Logos forum yesterday.

Thanks! Seeing Spicq not only in Logos, but also having an English edition is a dream come true! As a student of Hebrews, his work is often quoted but never translated. We here at Logos are seeking to end that.
Thanks also for posting it in the Catholic forum as well. Getting the word out helps us to Free Spicq and release him to the world!
I was wondering the status of this. I searched the store and this work wasn’t available
EDIT: Welcome to the forums, Aimee! /EDIT
Back then it turned out that a French company held the copyright to Spicq's commentary and did not allow the translation.
Likely, after so many years on prepub, they gave up. It really was a long-shot (author, Bible book, language > translation).
But with the translator tool, Spicq would be a great choice, in French, without the cost of translating involved. Also hi agape volume.
It’s been a goner for a little over a decade.
