Based off of the link below and the price I can see, the 127 volume Fathers of the Church series is 60% off, which appears to bring the price down to just around $900.

I remember paying $1700 for this series when it was the pre-pub price, so for anyone who was wise enough to wait, now maybe be your chance to pick this up.
Also, maybe its old policy now, but I remember Logos once promising that the Pre-pub price would be the lowest price it ever offers on a product. Seeing the $800 price difference here puts a bad taste in my mouth.
Thanks for the link -it is a good offer.
Regarding your point on prepub pricing policy this was changed in Dec 2016 - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/133649.aspx - responding, in a large part, to customer feedback
I thought the original pre-pub price was a little pricey. Especially given earlier market coverage.
Maybe the publisher came to his (temporary) senses?

I rather hope that the Ancient Christian Writers set receives a similar treatment.
Thanks Graham for the link.
I think this is a good reason why I've scaled back my pre-pub and Community Pricing buying these last few years. Its too expensive to be Logos' guinea pig, when I can wait and get things at a better price later on.

Sorry to hear. Do you find this set to be useful? Are they tagged well?

What are the main differences between the two, besides the current price?

In general, the Ancient Christian Writers set has more introductions and notes. In print those notes are endnotes unfortunately.

Thanks Ken. It's tempting to purchase one of the Church Father sets on sale. I have the IVP Ancient Christian Commentary set in Logos and am wondering which of the two Church Fathers sets have better tagging for the IVP commentaries.
I have no idea, but it might be interesting to you to run the Bibliography tool within Logos to see what works and data type references are cited in the IVP commentaries. But personally, I am more interested in trying to understand how various of them think/understand/pray the faith instead of how exactly they interpret a particular scripture passage.
