To immediately update to the current stable version enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.
Thanks. I have it. And now, like others, I get a sync error.
It goes away when I open a layout, but returns when I go back to the home page. Tried closing and reopening, no joy.
A number of people in other threads are having this problem since this update.
Win10 home; 32GB RAM; i7 - 10700 CPU @ 3. 80 GHz (10th gen, 8 cores); GTX 950 Video Card (2GB); SSD
I'm using Windows 8. Since updating to 7.18 SR-1, every time when I want to start Logos, Windows will give me this notice:
"Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer:
Program name : Logos Bible Software
Verified publisher: Faithlife Corporation
If I click on the "YES", Logos will start up, but with sync error
If I click on the "NO", Logos will start up, and synchronization is just fine

Can you post logs?
I tried to enable logging (this is my first time), and noticed that the sync is working fine. So I re-started Logos without holding the CTRL, and the sync seems to be working fine too... may be Faithlife has done something?
Thanks
And today I still have sync error. Looking here hoping for answers I started with Ctrl pressed, which made me log in. Did. Still a sync error.

Do you still get this prompt on every startup?
If so, please right-click on the Logos shortcut, choose Properties, check the Compatibility tab and ensure it's not running in Compatibility mode.
I am still having the synchronization error.

I am also getting the UAC window each time I start Logos after installing 7.18 SR-1. I am not in Compatibility Mode. Log files attached 4885.LogosLog-10-20-2018.zip
Any word on this issue?

Can you follow the diagnostics steps I gave here to help narrow down the issue? https://community.logos.com/forums/p/173416/1000939.aspx#1000939

Is that going to address the problem I'm reporting?

No; we were discussing the UAC prompt.
Please start a new thread describing your problem and post logs.
Logos seems slow and choppy since the last update. Even simple tasks like scrolling in a resource is choppy. I don't know what more info I can provide but Logos just seems less responsive when you scroll or click on things or open resources.

Lee,
This should now be fixed in 7.19.
