I guess I just never looked. But reading Libby's BDAG Search Manual (true!), most of the heavy-duty lexicons allow searching on the english gloss. And offer even more interesting choices. A few:

BDAG: 'Formal Equivalent' = gloss; also 'translation equivalent'

LSJ: gloss, plus etymology and prosody!

MM: gloss

HALOT: gloss

TLOT: gloss

Gesenius: gloss

DCH: gloss

Collins Latin: gloss

In your Basic Search, you select from the search field (1st) menu choice.

"God will save his fallen angels and their broken wings He'll mend."

Well, this is about the coolest thing I've learned today. I tagged every Lexicon in my library, and now I can search the gloss in 55 of them. This was a GREAT post - thanks!

In your Basic Search, you select from the search field (1st) menu choice.

Can also specify field for search: e.g. ([field gloss] king) that can be used in Web App (does not yet have field selector for search)

FYI: gloss is searchable in several Bibles too: LHB, LXX Swete, SBLGNT
