Intel are about to release a driver that should resolve the issue. You can keep track of progress at
https://community.logos.com/forums/t/196185.aspx
and
https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Iris-Xe-and-AWS-Workspaces/td-p/1244351
Once released, and if it does indeed fix the problem, you can just re-enable HW acceleration and all should work hopefully.
PROBLEM: Enable Hardware Acceleration setting causes problems with videos, Sermon Builder and Edit W

Logos 9.6 Beta 1, Windows 10
When Enable Hardware Acceleration is set to "No",
- No video, only audio
- Sermon Builder and Edit workflow work fine.
Replication:
- Go to any video in: Faithlife Study Bible Videos (FSBV)
- The image will be visible until I click the play icon.
- When I click the play icon the image disappears and the video is not visible but I can hear the sound and the progress bar is moving.
This happens:
- whether the FSBV is docked in a layout panel or alone in a floating panel.
- whether the video is viewed in the FSBV resource or toggled to a full screen.
- with other resources, including:
- Animated High Definition Commentary: Philippians
- Multiple Mobile Ed courses
- DIY Bible Study: Philippians Video
When Enable Hardware Acceleration is set to "Yes"
- Videos work fine.
- Sermon Builder and Edit Workflow open blank.
Replication:
- Right-click on an existing customer workflow and select “Edit”
- Workflow opens but the body of the form is blank.
- Sermon opens but the body of the form is blank.
Other tools and functions may also be affected - I don't know.

Thank you SineNomine and Kevin for the information you provided.
Based on information I gleaned through the resources you linked, it looks like a fix is to be distributed via an update today, June 4. I hope so.

https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Iris-Xe-and-AWS-Workspaces/m-p/1283236#M97290 Ronald said the 9th, and tentative - this will be Intel driver so you will have to download and install it from Intel (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics)
There is a beta driver that was released 26th May which may have the fix in already https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30500/Intel-Graphics-BETA-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers if you would like to try that out.

Thanks Kevin.
Today's Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1 from Microsoft did not have the fix.
I'll check out the links you provided and see which direction I'll go. I may not get back to this until next week, so I may wait for the tentative June 9th and try that solution when it is released.

I installed the driver below from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics and it fixed the problem.
Steps:
- Download and run driver update
- Launch Logos
- Change "Enable Hardware Acceleration" (EHA) to "Yes"
- Close Logos
- Restart Logos
I am now able to edit Workflows AND view m.ED courses including videos (while before I could only edit Workflows with EHA set to off and view videos with EHA set to on).
The posts at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/196185/1170424.aspx#1170424 were also helpful.
