Logos Beta Update Incompatible with iOS 15

Requesting for a beta update for Logos that is compatible with iOS 15. The app no longer opens in iOS 15.

For clarification: FL's standard response is that they don't support beta versions of iOS (or other OS's).

I had this issue as well... but was able to fix it by restarting my iPad. That is worth a try.

Restarting was the first thing I did. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I also tried “resetting the workspace.” That didn‘t work either. This is the first time I’ve experienced this issue on a beta version of iOS. Perhaps, the development team should prioritize this issue, considering that the official version of iOS 15 will be released soon.

I am running iOS 15 with no problems.  Have you tried removing and reinstalling Logos?

I concur... the next step is to delete the app. 

You can also send logs through the support button.

Thanks, we are aware of the issue with iOS 15 beta 5. The app will launch once upon a device restart or app reinstall, but will fail to launch again. Other app developers are reporting similar problems. We will continue to monitor the situation.

As JT mentioned, we cannot support beta iOS releases (for just these reasons). However, we appreciate you testing the app (as we do as well). We have every intention of supporting iOS 15 when it is released to the public later this year.

I can confirm this behavior. As I mentioned, a restart allowed me in. Once the app left active memory, it took another restart of the device to get it running again. Also, it takes forever for the resources to initially load.

An update on this issue. The root cause appears to be a bug introduced by Apple in iOS 15 beta 5. They are aware of the issue, and there are some signs that it might be resolved in the next developer beta.

In the meantime, we have identified a work-around, and have shipped an updated beta today that should address the crashes, even on the latest iOS 15 beta 6.

The latest beta of iOS 15 seems to fix the crashes on my end.
