9.12 Beta 1 (9.12.0.0002)
To change Logos 9 to the beta channel, enter the command Set update channel to beta in the Go Box. (Please see beta warnings and risks.)
To immediately update Logos 9 (if it is already set to beta channel), enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

- Synchronization
- Fixed a bug that would cause syncing to never complete.
Let's hope this fixed my sync issue. I will monitor it.

Here is a log with the sync error occuring:
5074.LogosLogs.20220210-050943.zip
I closed all windows and resources (using Close All) but without a restart of Logos. The syncing then worked. Here is a log of the working sync: 8345.LogosLogs.20220210-055129.zip
Hope this helps you track down this long-standing issue. It is not new to this beta.

Hi Marco,
I'm not able to reproduce this crash, could you please list step by step what happens, or if possible record and upload a video recording your screen? Also please upload your logs from a session where the app has crashed.
What OS are you running?

Hello.
Every book, included bibles, has got its own footnotes along the main text. When I click and open any of those footnotes and then I rigth click on the text inside the footnote, for instance in order to copy it, immediately my Logos crashes.
I use PC with windows 10.
Thank you.0 -

Replicated in Verbum using NRSVCE. The crash took a few moments to occur.

The second log is the same as the first with the sync errors. Suggest you re-post the log if sync is working.
The are repeated errors for Preferences and History sync items, and then for multiple other items; suggesting there is a server issue. So it is possible that may have been fixed.

Beta is a newer release of Logos software, which has upgraded your library database files to the newer release. Trying to use an older Stable release with newer database results in a crash (prevents older release from corrupting newer database release files). Hence downgrading from Beta to Stable is difficult. Steps for downgrading on Windows is similar to Mac: completely uninstall Beta followed by installing Stable. Before uninstalling Beta, could copy Resources folder. After Stable is installed, can use scan command to copy Resources (especially Personal Books) from Beta Resources folder copy into your Stable installation.
Logos Wiki macOS Troubleshooting has Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable
Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable">
Beta bugginess is not for everyone (fixing some bugs spans several Beta releases). However, downgrading in middle of a Beta development cycle is difficult. Potential Risk: some documents may not sync to a Stable release eg. a new feature or format. If want to downgrade from Beta to Stable version, need to Completely Uninstall Beta using Uninstalling Logos for Mac, then install Stable using Installing Logos for Mac OR Copy Logos Resources to Mac OS X (avoids re-download of your Logos resource files).
Transition option: can use command Set Update Channel to Default for automatic transition to Stable channel for current development cycle (Beta updates followed by “Gold” and service releases). If want no more Beta updates, can use command Set Update Channel to Stable (only future “Gold” and service releases).
Keep Smiling [:)]

Hello.
The problem with the context menu that doesn't open down to the bottom when you right click at any word, has not been fixed.
