Question about slides in sermons....

I have two questions:

1. Say I want to make a slide in powerpoint, place it in my sermon and control it from my iPad. Do I just insert it in a sermon as a slide with it as a background? Or should I insert it in proclaim? Will it appear on my sermon/iPad for control?

2. I see some slides have places for sub-points etc. Is there a way to have them appear one by one (as you can  in power point?)

Thanks!

    That would work

That would work if you are using the Proclaim remote app to control slides during your sermon. If you are using the Logos Bible app to preach from (using preaching mode and its associated slide control) it wouldn't recognise the slide you inserted manually into Proclaim.

You can specify this in Proclaim using the fade in text control before each item you want to appear in this way

I learned a fine point about this last week (I preached from the "preach" option in Logos for the first time after 2 years of Proclaim remote.) I found that I could create slides in Logos and export them to Proclaim. I could then EDIT the imported slides and the EDITED format was controlled by the slides in the Browser from the Preach Mode. Slides I ADDED were not controlled by the Preach mode. Also I created a slide in Logos, then after exporting into Proclaim, I made a word in Proclaim "fill in" - Preach Mode did not recognize the "fill-in" [moving from a static slide to a "1 of 2" dynamic stack] within Proclaim. LESSON LEARNED: all the fill-in options need to be done Before exporting to Proclaim, then background/formatting options can be changed in Proclaim and Preach Mode will not revert to Logos slides.

Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).
