OFFICIAL: L10 Upgrade Tip

I'm super excited that we're releasing Logos 10 today on 10/10. It's our prayer that you'll love using it as much as we've loved building it for you. We hope you'll be helped in your ministry, professional use, and personal study and deepen your (and others’) love for God as you live in the Word.
We're doing something pretty special this release, and I wanted to make sure it doesn't get lost in all the excitement.
Since Logos 10 is a major milestone for us—especially in the year that marks our 30th anniversary— we've decide to introduce it with a 30% off one-time discount for your first upgrade order (not just package).
Since Logos 9 released in 2020, we quietly shipped intra-cart dynamic pricing. That means you can now buy at the same time multiple overlapping packages (e.g., L10 Gold Standard and L10 Baptist Gold) and we'll automatically adjust the price for their overlapping portions to make sure you're only paying once for each included item. Prior to that, you had to buy them one at a time. We've been dynamically pricing against your already owned resources since Logos 5 (in 2012), but now we dynamically pricing what's in your cart against the other items in your cart, too.
This means you can use your 30% off one-time discount to buy multiple base packages at the same time and receive 30% off the dynamically reduced price of all of them combined.
As many of you like to buy multiple upgrades, I wanted to make sure you didn't miss this opportunity to maximize your savings on your first upgrade order.
Happy shopping—and studying!

Just an FYI that right now, you won't see this extra discount until packages are added to your basket.

I would add to this to play around a lot. I got all of the denominational packages I wanted in my cart, and then I went back and just added other same or lower level packages from other denominational sets, and often times adding other packages would LOWER my overall cost.

From the thread title, I didn't know that this was an OFFICIAL tip. It's a great one, though!

Nice. I hope this sticks around for a while. This is my second busiest week of the entire year, and I really must resist the temptation to spend hours poring over the different denominational libraries...

Take your time. The discount isn't going away any time soon.

I like the thread title change. [Y]

Thanks for sharing the joy of Logos' 30th by offering this generous discount to everyone.

I guess the wording is important: 'upgrade order'.
In Mark's post for L10, he spells it out:
" So if you already own a Logos Base Package (not including Basic), we’ll double that discount to a massive 30% for your first Logos 10 transaction."
I'm not sure I have a base package somewhere in the past, but I suppose I can see what shows up in the cart.

You may want to double-check before ordering because intra-cart dynamic pricing is not working for me. When I add Standard Gold and Baptist Gold, both have a note that they are dynamically adjusted, but the prices are unchanged.

But does either one also have a second note indicating that one is dynamically adjusted according to resources in the other?

What happens to the price of one when the other is removed from your cart?

It's possible that the unowned portions of both packages don't overlap for you. IOW, you may already own all overlapping portions of the packages.

I removed them both and added them back and now it seems to be working. Weird.

I identified 4 denominational starter packages I was interested in, each priced separately between $22 and $26 and when I added all 4 to my basket the total is $43!
I'm going to play around some more to see what I get if I now add some bronzes.
Thanks Logos!

Phil, can you add a Verbum and Logos base package and get the extra discount? It appears my cart empties when I go to logos.com after adding a package at verbum.com. Thanks!
EDIT: Never mind - I think I figured it out, I can get Verbum packages at logos.com, then I can combine any packages I want.

Does this also include feature upgrades? I added full feature and show 15% presently. Thank you.

No. The 30% discount is for base packages only, or for subscribers who already have access to the L10 featureset and are purchasing an L10 library.

Thank you Phil and Faithlife for this most generous discount. I loaded up on packages and it seemed the price was very competitive, duplicate resources no doubt taken care of, and the 30% discount applied. Thank you again, happy to be a customer of this new release!

Please define "any time soon" if you can. Do you expect the 30% discount to still be in effect in early November?

I don't know if this is applicable, but the email I got from the L10 announcement (French version) said until February 13, 2023.

Yes, it will still be in effect then. And we'll give everyone plenty of notice before it's reduced or withdrawn.

Sorry for the buyer's remorse, but it would have been handy if this was documented on the L10 website itself. Oh well.

I'm sure you're not the first or the only. You need to talk to CS.Robert Neely said:Sorry for the buyer's remorse, but it would have been handy if this was documented on the L10 website itself. Oh well.

When will the 30% for first purchases end and when will the 15% for subsequent purchases end?

We'll give plenty of notice before this offer ends. It's not imminent.
