Same problem here. Log attached.

Some saved layouts load fine, some crash....
I can't reproduce this.
It would be good to publish your logos4.log as well. I seem to be getting the crash on Panel Settings for LLS:6.60.19 - Nicene & Post Nicene Fathers Vol V.

Hmmm, doesn't crash for me. I keep trying to crash it, but haven't been able to yet.

Here are the log files
Dave I am able to open this resource either from the library or from the command bar. I wonder if this has something to do with the OS that is running. I'm running Win 7 64 bit
Opened to a blank layout and it seems to be doing okay. OLpened an old layout and it came up fine.
Same here (Desktop Win 7 64 bit). But I crashed again trying to open LLS:6.60.19!
Crashes when opening a layout.6371.Logos4Crash.txt
I opened the file without incident and floated the panel. After I started scrolling through the resource, Logos encountered an error and needed to close.

Likewise as long as I stay away from LLS:6.60.19!
Yours seems to crash on LLS:14.0.40 which I don't have. Try opening from the Command box by typing LLS:14.0.40

Both LLS:6.60.19 (Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers Second Series Volume 5) and LLS:14.0.40 (Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible) cause me to crash. Not on start-up though. And I can actually open LLS:6.60.19, but when I try to scroll it it crashes.
A little while ago I was able to open both LLS:6.60.19 and LLS: 14.0.40 without a crash and could scroll through and play with both. Then I closed Logos and installed the latest windows updates. After the machine restarted both resources open but Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers crahses when I scroll.
These are the updates from Windows that were installed.
I've reported both of the exceptions in the logs provided. Thank you all.
We will release a new beta that addresses this crash tomorrow.
Thanks for a quick reply Melissa and Jacob.

Grrrr ... Same crash here too, with 4v1B6.

Is this a problem with Quality Control and Testing at Logos, or a result of the Microsoft updates just released?
Is this a problem with Quality Control and Testing at Logos,
Jim, if you're running the beta, you ARE the tester. [:D]
It's not a problem with the MS updates as I crashed before & after installing them on Win 7!
This appears to be fixed in Beta 7
Yes. No crash using LLS:6.60.19!
If Logos is listening, please speak to this testing issue.
Problem resolved with Beta 7.
Betas are built from the very latest version of the code and are tested minimally before being released. This is for our convenience. [:)]
We make absolutely no guarantees regarding the stability or suitability for use of beta releases (as is clearly stated at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8883.aspx). We try to keep them stable, and if critical bugs are introduced, to fix them promptly, but the likelihood of each beta release introducing a new bug or regression is extremely high.
