Is there anyway I can filter out the so called love stories? I don't mind the occasional piece of fiction but blehhh.
Please don't make me "buy" them all and hide them all. (Yes I know, I could just keep ignoring them.)
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
It would be nice if we could hide "fiction."

I provide Twitter, Facebook and RSS feeds of new free Vyrso books, so at least you'll then only have to look at new Amish romance:
But what we really need is to be able to exclude categories. That, unfortunately, is not possible.

There is nothing like a steamy Amish romance story to balance out a Wiersbe Bible study- but yeah, I see what you mean.

Can someone explain the Christian female fascination with Amish Romance?

I think there's no known way to filter out categories - as opposed to filter for categories, e.g.:
Btw. there are only 261 books in Vyrso which are found in a full-text search for "Amish" and some of them are nonfictional, discussing Amish lifestyle and cooking. Given that Vyrso has nearly 13.000 resources, it would be exceedingly rare to see an Amish love story for free (I recall one - it's still free - and have even rated it), as opposed to romances set in any other environment.

Logos -- Can you please support a query that filters out Genre=Filter ?
Thanks!
Peter
We do not support this feature right now through the regular facets. However you can use some special syntax in your search to remove certain fields, if you know the secret field name. In this case, if you search for:
-GenreGroup:Fiction
(Translated to "EXCLUDE anything with the Genre OF Fiction")
You will get all the results that are not in the "Fiction" genre. The entire query is case-sensitive and the lack of spaces is important. The final URL looks something like http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=-GenreGroup%3AFiction
If you wanted to search for Freebies like the original poster, the link would look like http://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price%3A%5B0+TO+0%5D+-GenreGroup%3AFiction&unlocked=no&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60
Thanks Aaron! That's the syntax I'm looking for.
Thank you Aaron. That is good enough for me.
Apparently the fiction tag is no on a few of your resources, but clearly should be... unless there really is a martian colony being built in the future which you've already seen in your Logos time machine.

Apparently some Christian guys read it too.

I sure can't. I'm a Christian female, and I'm not fascinated with it.
