Hi guys,

We're still seeing video problems in Proclaim. Everywhere else the videos work fine, only Proclaim seems to have the problem - as long as you don't touch the video in the slide order before it's time to play it, it will play just fine. Once you touch it, all else is lost until Proclaim is restarted.

I have a screen capture video to illustrate what happens if you can let me know where to put it - it's 800MB. I've also attached our logs.

Our issue is that ANY video (local, web or uploaded) we attempt to play through Proclaim locks up resulting in at minimum a restart of Proclaim... and sometimes the entire PC. Happened again today with a simply YouTube trailer for the God's Not Dead movie. Becoming a very distracting issue. We don't dare consider moving backgrounds.

I left out that these videos play fine in any other program on the PC.

When you used the previous version of Proclaim did you ever have video issues? Have you tried running Windows Update and seeing if there are any updates available?

We haven't intentionally changed anything related to video playback but we did move to an updated version of Microsoft's .NET framework which I suppose could potentially be causing issues.

I'd also be interested in your results if you tried running the old version of Proclaim on a presentation you're currently having issues with. It can be installed from here and can be used while we sort out the video issues.

Thanks for your help in debugging this issue.

This issue started a few weeks ago after one of the updates. I've tried the old version, as well as running Windows System Restore to try to find the exact update that created the issue.

Hoping to find something soon as this is not a good time for issues like this.
