Greetings!

Whenever we go on air. Once it plays a video it freezes and does not play. And the only way for to close Proclaim is by ending task in task manager. It's been happening to both background videos or just plain video files.

Sorry to hear about this. When you play a video on air does the video itself freeze or the entire app? Have you tested this on multiple machines? Is it with all videos or just specific videos?

Hello Scott,

It starts out freezing the video then after a few seconds freezes the entire app. We did try this on multiple machines and still freezes. The bug is really at random sometimes the video works, but most of the time the app freezes. And this is for all videos.

Where are you getting your videos? Are they uploaded into Proclaim by your group? Did this happen on the older version of Proclaim or just since the last major update?

Hey there...

We're getting this issue too! :)  At this point the "lock up" is only happening on one computer, since the update.  Videos: files received via cd, downloaded to a pc, then uploaded to proclaim.  I can upload the video from the computer and the video will run fine on another machine, but lock up mine.  It consistently locks up on videos, but runs fine otherwise.  Help appreciated! :)

We haven't been able to get any traction on this issue. Can you see anything in the Windows Event Viewer Application logs related to the video hang?

Sorry for delayed reply. 

Most of the videos that we have came from sharefaith.com. All are in mp4 format

I've been having the exact same problem. I've used videos from Sharefaith and Proclaim, doesn't seem to make any difference.

I've been having the same issue. Try to play a video whether on air or not and the video doesn't play. Then I can go to another slide, but soon the whole app crashes. I have to shut down the process to get Proclaim to restart. I am trying to play the included Proclaim videos and it still does this.
