Formatting options for Content and Announcements same as available for Songs

Is there a reasons that the same formatting options that are available on the "Song" slides (i.e. outer glows and outlines, which can really help with readability of text on some backgrounds) aren't available on the other slides options – particularly Announcements and Content slides?

There was a technical reason. This will be removed in the next release. All text effects will be available for all text.
