I cannot get beta 7 to work on iPad Air, retina iPad mini or iPhone 6 Plus.

When I press "Control" I get the spinning wheel for a moment, then it crashes. I can follow but not control.

I'm unable to reproduce but I can see the crash from your devices in our automatic error reporting system. This should be enough information for us to go off of. This will be a top priority Monday morning. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the report, the bug causing the crash has been fixed. We'll get another beta out in time for the weekend that includes this and a handful of smaller fixes.

The crash occurred whenever there was a video service item as one of the first 2-3 items in a presentation.

A new beta (iOS-only) is now available. To install, delete any previous beta from your device and visit http://downloads.logos.com/Mobile/ProclaimMobile/beta/index.html.

New in this version:

-Larger font in the notes view
-Fix for crash when video service items are used early in the presentation.
-Minor enhancements

Note that the new beta is not compatible with the newly released iOS 8.1.3. If you wish to use the new beta or continue using the old one, hold off on updating to 8.1.3. The app should be available on the app store within the next two weeks, and you will be able to install it on iOS 8.1.3 without a problem (the issues are not with the app itself, but rather with the installation process from Safari).

Thank you to everyone who participated in the iOS beta. The redesigned remote is now available on the iOS app store. See this post for more info. You'll want to make sure to delete the beta before installing the release version or you may end up with two identical icons on your home screen. There will be no further iOS betas for the time being.

We're shifting our focus to completing the Android version now, so you'll see more updates and Android betas in this thread in the future.

The next beta for Android is still in the works, but I can't give you an timeline just yet. We received a lot of useful feedback once the iOS version went live on the app store a few weeks ago, and we've been focused on getting it polished (improvements that will be the Android version as well). We'll be wrapping up that work in the next week or two and shifting our focus to Android.

So, now that follow is in there, does this still require someone to be part of the group to get access to it (in other words they would have full permissions anyway)?

Is there a way to limit who can control? In other words, if we have our music leaders load this and run it, and they accidentally press control instead of follow, can they accidentally be advancing the screens?

I only briefly looked at this the other week, and while following the slides didn't advance with the screens. This would have been using a Nexus 5 phone as the device...

Anyone within 1,000 meters of the presentation can follow. They will not be able to control unless they are part of your group.

The Proclaim remote is out of beta. Installing the latest version from the app store will get you the latest version. Apologies for the confusion.
