BUG? LogosCEF not responding

This doesn't look right. On my Windows 7 PC, the two LogosCEF processes are operating normally. On my Mac, I get this:
Could this be a reason why L6 disappears when I minimize the full window Library panel? When that happens, only solution is to re-start L6.
Mac OS X10.10
Logos 6 SR-3
thanks,
David

I think (could be wrong) that this is a known issue on Yosemite. If so, it should be fixed in a future update.

This is a "cosmetic bug" in Chrome itself, that won't be fixed till Chrome 40: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/chrome/IIT6rFAPTcI/XgGWH2x4TukJ
It will be several months until Logos 6 is updated to use Chromium 40 (or higher); you can ignore the "not responding" LogosCEF process in Activity Monitor until then.

Thanks Bradley. I knew there was a reason why I don't like "cosmetics". [:)]

I didn't see any issues related to LogosCEF, thanks for clarifying it for us Bradley.

I use firefox... I reported this issue too. I think further investigation from Logos is required. There should never be an app not responding. Period.

You may have missed Bradley's report on the issue - it is a known Google/Chromium issue that will be fixed when Logos updates to ver. 40 (Logos is moving to ver. 37 in the next release of 6.0, namely 6.0a)

I understand that you say this is cosmetic, but my library WONT index and I think it has to do with this. I recently upgraded to Logos 6 and have over 5K of resources and it never finishes the indexing.

Hi Andrew - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
But it may not be related to what is being discussed in this thread.
Please start a new thread and give as many details as you can about the problems you are having
Please also enable diagnostic logging and post logs as per https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

I am also having this problem on a mid 2010 Macbook running Safari. Because Logos has been incredibly slow since my recent purchase of it, I am very interested in making sure to resolve any hidden issues.
(I have already done all the suggestions for increasing the speed, as well as doubled my RAM. I'm just very curious about this LogosCEF not responding error.)

It's purely a cosmetic bug in Activity Monitor; it causes no problems or slowdowns in the application.
It will be resolved when we update to Chromium 41 in an upcoming version of Logos 6.
