I'm wondering if you guys find logos 6 faster?
I remember when i downloaded Logos 5 it was noticably faster than 4.
Speed comparison for starting up with a layout
Opening to the Home Page is faster because of the redesign of the Home Page.
Searching seems much faster, although I have no benchmarks to compare.
I find on my Windows 7 machine that Library has very long display re-writes whenever I change views.
BTW: the greatest speed differences will probably be found on 64-bit operating systems with at least 4 GB and probably better to have 8 GB of RAM.
On a Mac, the general feel and UI interface seems to be slower. I too remember the nice speed difference when switching to Logos 5 from 4 but I don't have that faster experience on Logos 6.
My experience on my MBP is it (I am a Verbum user, but same base code as Logos, really just a slight interface difference) feels faster over all than 5, passage guides seem to populate faster, indexing is far quicker now. I will admit the interface does sometimes feel more sluggish than 5, but I am hoping that will get polished up soon... One good example of this, occasionally when i click library it will take 4-5 seconds to open.. other times it opens instantly as it should.

In many cases it depends on what CPU technology You have. L6 benefits from very recent (high-end) technology.
