BUG: Logos 6 hanging on print/export
I am not sure how to troubleshoot this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using a text-to-speech screen reader, and export is the most efficient way that I have of accessing resources with a braille display.
I will supply the info from event viewer below. I am on a new PC and this installation of Logos 6 is less than four weeks old. Indexing completed last night after I installed some new resources. I have run a virus scan and it is clean. I am able to get into the print/export dialogue, which I have to navigate using the tab key--this is how a screen reader functions because it does not work with a mouse. In order to select how much text I want to export, I have to tab past the margins box and then enter the number of pages or select the sections. I can sometimes get past the margins box and sometimes not. In any case, I can never get to the area to select the method of export.
Here are the event logs. There are always two together.

Hi Sarah, is this still a problem?

Yes, this is still a problem. I am getting the same errors when I try export. I do not own a printer, but I have installed drivers for a generic text printer. Do I need to do something to associate them with Logos? There are things I would very much like to be able to see. As an update, this happens with all types of exports: search results as well as sections of books.

You don't need printer drivers to use the Export features. Can you get get directly to the Export box (bottom right) without going to the Margins box?

I don't think so, since the part of my screen reader that simulates mouse movement and selecting on particular parts of the screen is not interacting with the UI... In either case, I also need to access the places to select sections or enter number of pages, and I cannot get to these at all. This would require either tabbing past the margin box or doing it in reverse, via shift-tab past the printer selection box. When I have managed to make it that far, it has also hung on that box.

Hello. I installed a printer driver and the problem did not change. However, I installed a Logos update recently and the problem seems to have gone away. I am not sure whether it was the Logos update or something else, but I sure am happy now!

Not sure whether it is better to reply here or open a new topic. In any case, the problem has started again. I can only assume this is with a new Logos update. This is extremely frustrating, and Biblia.com is not a very efficient alternative, as it has its own accessibility problems. I really wish there was a permanent fix for this problem

6.5 is now available on the stable channel and it includes this fix.
Please let us know if this is still an issue after updating to 6.5.
