New Feature: Systematic Theology Section (Dataset)
What is it?
A dataset that gathers all the cross references from your systematic theology resources on a specific passage and organizes them according to denominational affiliation.
How does it work?
Logos searches your systematic theology resources for biblical references and then organizes the results according to standard theological categories. These results are then further broken down according to the denominational affiliation of the author. Discover what Baptist, Lutheran, and Presbyterian theologians say about a specific passage of Scripture as it relates to the doctrine of the Bible.
Where can I learn more?

Wow this looks really useful! Is there a list of which systematic theologies are tagged to work with this tool? Will there be a way to purchase this tool that does not require a monthly subscription? A new datasets package of some kind?
Hi Liam.
I've attached a PDF that has a list of the systematic theologies (as of today, June 29, 2015) broken down by group/tradition.
0045.SystematicTheologiesResources-2015-06-29.pdf
At present, this is a Logos Now feature/tool.

Thanks for your interest! At the moment, Logos Now and Logos Cloud will be the only ways to access this dataset. You can always sign up for a free month trial to Logos Cloud or Logos Now (if you haven't already done so). I believe it will be available at the premium level of Logos Cloud. I

Woah! Nice list! Checking out the feature now!

Also, I've shared a collection file that has these systematic theologies. You can access it here.

Jacob,
I have the free trial version of Logos Cloud for the month, but I'm not able to access the systematic theology feature. Is this available for those using the free trial (for the next 2 days) or is it only available for those who paid for the subscription?
Thanks
Edit: Ah just saw that you said it would be available for the premium version. I don't remember which version the free one was, but maybe it wasn't the premium.

Logos Cloud is getting updated right now. Should be done by noonish.

Also, Systematic Theologies is a 6.4 feature, so that version of the software is required along with the proper license.

This is available to anyone with the free trial or the paid version. I think that the release is now live. Check by typing "Update Now" in the command box of the program. Let me know if this works.

Also, for those of you who are interested in filling out all the dataset with all the systematic theologies we have (and that are in this feature), you can find the feature collection here.

OK, it says it's been downloaded in my updates drop down, but does not show up in the passage guide at all.

Did you restart?

Liam said:
yeah, ive restarted twice now, and nothing yet. I'll try one more time.
You're still running Logos 6.3. As Rick mentioned above, the dataset requires Logos 6.4 (which just became available less than an hour ago). Try entering "update now" in the Command Box and see if that will trigger the application update.
Though, restarting should have also triggered this, so I'm not entirely sure why you're not updated. At any rate, this section won't be visible until you're running Logos 6.4 (6.4.0.0037).

Seems to work, could not find any Lutheran, though

This may be due to what's in your personal library. Unlike the Ancient Literature and Cultural Concepts sections, the Systematic Theology section will only return results from what is in your library.

Thank you - this is a big step forward for Logos users.

Hmm. I've had to redownload the update to this version 3 times. It reaches 100% and then restarts the download. Does anyone have any tips on how to complete the download?
You may need to contact our Tech Support, but I know they are well versed in handling these sorts of issues.

Any Chance we can get Larry Hart's "Truth Aflame: Theology for the Church in Renewal" that is in Vyrso added to the dataset?

As a new user this is one of the most exciting features I've seen in Logos 6 so far. Too bad I spent almost 600 dollars and can't get it without a monthly subscription. It would be nice to use functionality with the new 179 dollar Bavinck set I just bought too. Does this really have to be an additional fee to use when we've spent so much money already?
