Bug: Handouts and Word Find Puzzles

Ok. I am a Logos Now subscriber and my software is updated to all of the new Logos 7 feature sets.

I am currently preparing a handout for my Wednesday evening Bible study, as I do every week. We are currently looking at Proverbs.

Each week, I prepare a handout using the Logos Handout document. I used to be able to create a new Handout Document by putting in the verse reference and letting the software generate some suggested content. One of the things that Logos used to automatically generate was a word find puzzle based on the specified reference. It is no longer doing that.

I know I can generate a word find puzzle document separately, but I have not been able to figure out how to then insert it into my handout document. Is this possible? Any advice?

Of course you know that while Handouts have not been revoked, Handouts are deprecated.

I just ran a handout against this week's passage (Luke 22:24-30) and I will confirm that while the aforementioned word find was a standard feature, it did not generate this time.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

No. I was not aware of this. It still seems odd that it seems to have changed if that is the case.

I think you should report it as a Bug (edit title of your original post - see under more in the upper right of your original post) as it was not listed as an intended change.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I agree Tim, odd indeed.  Deprecated means "we ain't touchin' it."

This change of behaviour was an unintended side effect of making Word Find Puzzles available to all users in Logos 7. (Ironically, it removed them from Handouts.)

We've identified the cause of the bug and will fix it in a future release.

This should be fixed in 7.0 SR-1
