Problem with Resource Specific Note Files

Hello All, any insight would be much appreciated.
I am accustomed to having my highlights and notes save in Resource Specific Note Files - which I assume to mean, all the notes and highlights I place are saved in a single book-specific files for me to search and peruse in one note (one note file for one book, numerous highlights.)
I opened my documents folder on my iPhone, it got a little strange (overlapping, garbled text) so I closed out of it, went to my laptop, and behold, I have over 90+ individual note files for Jensen's OT Survey Book, whereas I had specified it to be Resource-Specific, hoping to keep my document files a bit more tidy. Each note is a separate piece of text highlighted, so it's not a copy of the file, but each highlight is it's own note document.
Any ideas as to how that happened? How to (hopefully not manually) combine these documents, and how to prevent this from happening again?

Just checked and added two new highlights on my laptop and they each created a new Note Document (#98 and #99) for both new highlights. Ugh! I wanted to continue to read and mark up my book later this evening, but not if it's going to create an additional 100 note documents!

For clarification: Where were these notes created? If mobile, this may be moved to the appropriate mobile forum. Which specific version of the app are you using? What version of iOS?
I believe there was a bug in mobile at one point... but I think it has been fixed.

Hmmm... good question. I was wondering that as well - I CREATED the highlights on my laptop. I did not notice the problem until I searched my documents on my phone. Then I confirmed the problem on my laptop afterwards and it seemed like I was able to duplicate the problem on my laptop.
I will attempt to move this thread to the iPhone topic If that's the case, but I'm unsure if it's a. I joe problem. However, if this was a known bug on mobile, maybe it best I move it there anyways.

I may need help in how to move this thread - I can't seem to see how to do that?

And to answers these questions:
Where - As I said in my previous response, they were created on my MacBook, running El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G1004)
App - Logos 7, most recent update. ( Logos Bible Software 7.0 SR-3 7.0.0.0095 )
iOS - 10.0.1, and the Logos mobile app is v5.5.50131

Ok, I'm gonna put it out one more time. I've tried a couple things and am wondering if the problem is a bug with the book?
I deleted all my notes/highlights and tried to start over with the book (bummed to lose my highlights, hope it wasn't unnecessary to delete them all.)
In the meantime, I have used and marked dozens of highlights (from the same palette) in other books with no problem whatsoever, but as soon as I came back to my Jensen's Survey of the Old Testament it creates a new note file for each highlight. Just made a ton of markups on another textbook for a class and then tried to move on to Jensen and boom. More separate notes.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a problem with the book? What am I missing? This is all being done on my laptop now, nothing on mobile.

I can confirm your problem with this resource, and have created a new thread with the word BUG in the title with a link to this thread.
