Bug: 7.3 Courses Tool locator bars
It appears that the locator bars were hidden in the Courses tool -- thanks! -- but the vertical space taken up by the bars isn't reclaimed.
There's a white region above the video where its locator bar would have been, and another white region above the transcript/scrollbar where its locator bar would have been.
I don't see any Courses tool option to toggle the bars to get rid of that unused space, and the "x" which would have been found at the right side of the bar obviously isn't present.
This occurs with 7.3.0.0031 on macOS 10.12.2
Thanks for this work in progress, as it will provide more vertical space within the Courses tool pane!

Merely noting that this issue is still present in 7.4.0.0032 on macOS 10.12.3 (16D32).

I hadn't seen any mention of this being fixed in the 7.5 betas. Are there any plans to fix this for 7.5 or 7.6?

I can appreciate that there are more important bugs that need to be fixed, but will the Courses tool get any love in 7.6? It would be great to see this and the other remaining Courses tool issues get resolved.

I don't believe we had locator bars in the Courses tool prior to 7.2. If they were added for 7.2 but served no purpose, is it that much more difficult to properly remove them?
Only asking because this issue has been open for five months (and Courses tool vertical screen space is limited for some of us with other panes open in our layout).

Since they were added in 7.2 (but non-functional), how difficult is it to completely remove them? Would really appreciate a bit more vertical space to see and read the course transcripts. Thanks!

This whitespace was removed in 7.9.

It might be a minor thing, but it's wonderful that the content can actually fill the entire pane now.
