Hi All,

I'm trying to change the Logos "read aloud" voice.  I've successfully changed the narrator settings in both the Windows 10 settings and the control panel.  I've unlocked the Windows Eva (Cortana) voice as it's much better than the other MS voices.  The narrator is set for that voice in Windows, no problem there, but Logos doesn't pick up the change for some reason.  I've rebooted and still no change in the Logos "read aloud" voice.  Any help?

I'm running Logos Core 6

Here's how to unlock the Eva Voice:
It's basically just  downloading and double-clicking a registry file.

Have you confirmed that it is working in other apps?

Most other apps I'm using tap into Windows so that you can choose from all available voices.  They seem to work fine.  I use Balabolka and I can choose any MS voice.  Also the Windows Accessibility Narrator works just fine.

Thank you!

The answer was there:

I changed it in the narrator through the Win7 Control Panel, and in the Win10 Settings menu, but didn't change it in the "Set up Text to Speech" link.

In the "Use the computer without a display" >>  "Set up Text to Speech" link located in the old Win 7 Control Panel:

[Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center]

So there's 3 places we need to change it.

Thank you so much!

Here is how to Change Narrator Voice in Windows 10

1: Type “Settings” in the Search Bar next to the Start Menu. Click on the first option provided.

2: Click on “Ease of Access”. This will guide you to Narrator, Magnifier, and High Contrast etc.

3: Slide the narrator to “ON”.

4: In the “Voice” section bar, choose an option. There are two voices are present, they are:

⦁ Microsoft David

⦁ Microsoft Zira

I was having trouble here, but found this from Microsoft. It works!
