I have a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro. Both have Logos Libronix DLS and Alpha 4 installed. On both, I also have Boot Camp Windows XP partitions. Can I install Logos on those partitions, as well? Would I need to purchase and/or download additional software packages to do so? Would I be able to use the same resources or would I need to purchase a separate Logos application and resource library? Please, let me know, so I can act appropriately. Thank you

Welcome to forum - noted several related questions in one post.

Forum discussion http://community.logos.com/forums/p/341/3265.aspx includes licensing comments by Bob Pritchett.  From description sounds like 1 Logos user who wants to use several platforms.

Install Logos on Boot Camp partitions = Yes.  Booting Windows XP via Boot Camp performs better than running Windows XP in virtual machine, but lose access to Mac OS X.  Virtualization is an option for running Windows as a Mac OS X application - recommend lots of RAM so Logos has 2 GB or more available.  Mac OS X has Activity Monitor utility that can show memory usage.

Purchase = No, but Download = Yes - Blog has what to expect for Internet installation: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/12/what_to_expect_when_youre_installing.html

Noticed PC 4.0c Beta 1 (4.03.3.7605) available with forum link for downloading PC Installer: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/13722.aspx

Also found PC tip to avoid downloading Logos 4 resources multiple times: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/3193/24253.aspx

Blog has information about using Logos 4 Resources in Logos 3 or Logos for Mac 1.2.2: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/12/using_your_new_logos_4_resources_in_logos_3_or_logos_for_mac_1.html

Note: Logos 4 new features (e.g Biblical People) do not work in Logos 3.
