Metadata problems with Berkhof
Yes, it's happened again. A new resource collection with incomplete metadata. Here's what's needed with Berkhof:
- A automatic collection or series should be created - it's not.
- The History of Doctrines wrongly has a period have the author's name.
- Six of the resources have 2009 as their publication date instead of the original publication date (this, by the way is also a problem with the Calvin series).
- The same six resources don't have the original publisher listed.
This is now the fifth release in recent weeks which has had bad metadata. Please don't do it again.

Technically metadata is data about data. So on a computer metadata might describe data about the datafiles on your computer (what size they are, what their date modified was). In the context of a library (and therefore Logos) it just means data about the books (author, title, publisher, etc.).

I think Bob should take some advice from himself and fire the person in charge of metadata. He could hire Mark to do the job right the first time.

I seem to remember that the person in charge of metadata is his mother, so that may not happen! [;)]

Does anyone know if this meta data issue with Berkhof been fixed? Over the weekend I had multiple 18.3 MB downloads initiated because of the bad meta data ...
