Windows 10 Controlled Folder Access
Just a head's up. If you turn on the new "controlled folder access" function in Windows 10 (Fall Creator's Update) which is designed to keep ransomware from controlling your computer, there's a problem with running Logos.
Most programs are supposedly registered with Microsoft and are automatically granted permission to make changes to folders as needed. But for some reason Logos wasn't. I had to dig around in my user folder (and turn on view hidden files) to enable permission. I think I found everything and Windows isn't complaining about this anymore.
Do any of the developers know about this? Is there something that might change regarding registration with Microsoft going forward?
Thanks.

Hi Nicholas,
Thank you for letting us know about this. We've got a case to look into this and we are also working on a support article.

We've created a solution for this in 7.11. When Controlled Folder Access is turned on logs are saved in a different location. The release notes has more details.

Is there a way to make this the log file location even if controlled folder access is off?
This is where the logs should be rather than in documents; logs are not documents.
