I would like to be able to change the text size for the book I am reading, but leave the table of contents (side-bar column) the original size.  Please advise if this is possible.  Seemed to happen by default in Logos 7.

Hi Robert, and welcome to the forums.

Unless you are changing the size through the Program Scaling in the Program Settings, what you ask for is exactly what happens. Content Scaling (also in the Program Settings) changes only the text of the books. The text size for the table of contents is changed via the Program Scaling setting.

You can also change the book text size via the slider on the resource panel menu (three vertical dots in the upper right). Here's a couple screenshots to show you what I mean.

Does this not work for you?

Hi Levi, Thank you for your advice.  I have program scaling and content scaling both set at 100%.  However when i adjust the text size in the slider on the resource panel menu, it changes both the text in the book I am reading and the books table of contents (side bar) text size.  What you describe is what i experienced in Logos 7.

The behavior you describe was present when L4 came out, but they eventually fixed it after some gentle prodding. Hopefully they get it fixed in L8 asap.

It seems that what Levi showed us works on the Mac, but not on the PC. I have a PC and my results are the same as yours, Robert. The slider changes BOTH text and TOC.

Thanks Mark,

I have a Surface running windows 10. Its good to know the situation I described is replicated by another user.  Wondering how we can progress this for a bug resolution by Logos?

Good afternoon.  Any word on the progress for this?  When I hover over text links in any resource, my preferred bible shows but with ENORMOUS TEXT. I believe this is what everyone is talking about. Thanks.

This thread is from last year.

The problem you're describing has been reported here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/186450.aspx

Any updates will be posted to that thread.
