What does everyone think about the Lectio Continua Expository Commentaries and are these good resources?
I have only the Galatians volume and it did not impress me as the theological bent was too strongly present in the sense of not commenting on the text itself but rather on a particular theological interpretation of the text. Therefore, I would nix it for most academic work. I recognize, however, that there is a need for such commentaries especially for pastoral purposes. I leave it to Reformed ministers to determine if it meets those needs - it may.
